On-Campus Degrees

The one-year Certificate of Biblical Education is a 32-hour program for laymen. Its purpose is to provide training for Sunday School teachers and Christians who wish to know more about the Bible and further their education. This program is not open to men who have been called into the ministry.

The 32 hours of classwork can be completed in one year by taking classes four nights each week. However, the classwork may be spread over two or more years.

The two-year Associate of Theology is a 64-hour program for laymen. Its purpose is to provide training for Sunday School teachers and Christians who wish to know more about the Bible and further their education. This program is not open to men who have been called into the ministry.

The 64 hours of classwork can be completed in two years by taking classes four nights each week. However, the classwork may be spread over three or more years by designing a more convenient, personalized schedule.

The Pastoral Theology/Bible Major is designed primarily for men who have been called into the ministry. Its purpose is to provide training for pastors, associate pastors, evangelists, missionaries, and Christian educators. Though the focus is on ministers, this program is open to Christians who wish to know more about the Bible and further their education.

A total of 128 hours are required for graduation. To receive a Bachelor of Theology degree, a student must take each of the following courses (or comparable substitutes).

The Missions major provides instruction that is both theoretical and practical as the missionary prepares for the mission field and and while he lives and works on the field. From making prayer cards to writing prayer letters, from making videos to conducting outreach, to discipling believers, the missions student will receive top preparation to serve in local and cross-cultural missions. Each missions class is administered by experienced missionaries who know the Word of God and have first-hand experience of being on the mission field.

The Elementary Education Major is designed to train prospective Christian schoolteachers on the elementary level. Upon completion of the four-year program, a student will earn a Bachelor of Science Degree. A total of 128 hours are required for graduation.

The Practical Christian Training Major is designed to train Christians who desire a general course of study. Upon completion of the four-year program, a student will earn a Bachelor of Science degree. A total of 128 hours are required for graduation.
